It is time to update my favorite hobby: I get into other people’s photos.

I’ve been doing it since I was young. It works best in touristy places where groups of people are getting their photo taken. I just slip in behind them to the side while they are trying to find someone to take the photo. Time it right and you can blend right in with the group. Sometimes I make crazy faces or insane poses, but most often I just blend into their cherished memory. I can just imagine people checking out their vacation photos after arriving back home. “There’s aunt Carol and Uncle Jim, Tommy and wait.. Who is that guy next to cousin Mary??” I am in hundreds or thousands of photo albums around the world.

The trouble is that my hobby is outdated now. Digital photography changed all that. I need a new hobby to keep up with the times. Walking down the street gave me a flash of inspiration.

My new hobby: I make people texting and walking down the street walk into me. I make it look like it was totally their fault. This requires the same special timing as the old photo hobby. Picking the exact moment they are most distracted takes careful observation and percision. Good acting skills help complete the illusion that they just walked right into me standing unaware.

A friend suggested combining the two hobbies together getting photos of the texting collisions. I just might do that..
